Why People Adore the Show Bridgerton: An Insider's Perspective

As much as I can, I'll keep this review short. If I were to pen down everything in my mind, it would be damn long!

BRIDGERTON SEASON 2 is sensational! It is thrilling! Kudos to the beautiful team who did a fantastic job. Good work, guys! From the ballroom to each dance move, from the love of cakes to the display of jewelry, to the different hairstyles by the Queen, to the beautiful women of color who played marvelous roles! Amazing work of art and beauty!

The Screenwriting

I've keenly observed that to watch a movie, you need not rely on just online ratings. Sometimes, the rating system is flawed. All you need is to trust your instinct, especially if it's your genre! The current mindset of most people is to watch a movie emotionally only and not intellectually as well. Why in the world would you expect all the characters from the previous season to reappear? Their part has been played. Be intelligent! Be smart!

When your judgment is clouded, how do you expect to fall in love with the series?

Trusting Your Instinct and Appreciation

It's like peeling back layers of a delicious cake. Free your mind of every bias and appreciate the excellent work done from the directors to the actors. It's crazy and fantastic. Miss Kathani Sharma's portrayal of Lady Avana was so well done, oh my oh my! The era where a woman at 26 is considered too old to marry is reminiscent of the past. My own older sister married at 27, though I love her deeply, and the era where Lady Whistledown was the Twitter, the internet, the gossip blogs, etc. It's an era of opulence and intrigue.

The Bleacher Races Scene

The scene of the royal races, where people marked their favorite horses, was brilliant. Besides, the clothes worn were beautifully crafted and designed, reflecting the era's fashion and beauty. It's a time capsule that we can explore through this show.

The Love Story and the Characters

Finally, the love between Anthony and Miss Sharma—damn! This love story appealed to me more. Maybe because it was the personality of the characters; they were both laden with responsibilities. It is not Simon and Daphne's love story but Anthony and the thorny rose, Miss Sharma!

You have got to respect the characters portrayed. If you were a person given to responsibility or marrying out of fulfillment of a responsibility, you probably would understand Anthony more. The love is crazy! Oh, and this season had fewer sex scenes, which was a brilliant idea! It made us enjoy the series all the more.

The first and the last dance balls were simply amazing! I fell in love with balls all the more. I have never rated a movie 5 stars, so I would give this 3-4 stars. This was a thrilling ride!
