Let me clear this up for Missy and anyone else who may have wondered: I wasn't mad or annoyed with you, or anyone else, for leaving your comment on my page. What I am annoyed about is not your actions, but Quora's lack of addressing a critical flaw in their system.

Quora, in my opinion, fails to notify Original Poster (OP) users when they receive comments on answers to their questions. This is a significant flaw in their system that I have repeatedly brought to their attention, but it seems they are not compelled to make a change.

Each day, I find myself having to explain this to users who do not understand why their comments do not receive a response from the OP. This situation is frustrating, as it not only hinders user communication but also erodes trust in the platform. Some users become dismissive or even hostile when they are repeatedly informed that the OP who left the question is unlikely to see their comment.

Why Notifications Are Important

Notifications for comments on Quora answers serve a crucial purpose. They ensure that users are aware of feedback on their posts, which can be important for several reasons. For instance, if someone raises a constructive criticism, the OP should be able to address it. Similarly, if a user asks a follow-up question or seeks clarification, the OP should be informed to provide the necessary response.

A Plea for Change

I am not upset with individuals who make comments or fail to respond to them. I am, however, advocating for Quora to include a notification system for comments on answers to questions.
