Which Game of Thrones Character Would Make the Worst Roommate?

When considering the various characters from Game of Thrones, one person stands out as the unequivocal worst roommate choice: Tyrion Lannister. Known for his sharp wit and measure of cunning, Tyrion is also notorious for his terrible housekeeping and extreme lack of maturity. Let's explore why Tyrion would be a nightmare living partner.

Why Tyrion Lannister Makes the Worst Roommate

Tyrion’s upbringing was one of luxury and comfort, surrounded by servants who managed the household duties. Unfortunately, this tealiss leads to some very...unfortunate habits when it comes to personal responsibility. Without any form of discipline, he leaves his dirty laundry everywhere, including his shoes and socks. Overeating and expecting others to clean up after him, he often wanders into bed for his evening meals, leaving dirty dishes to fester under his bed until they emit an unbearable stench.

Worst of all, Tyrion's lack of boundaries extends to his personal life. He brings women back to the room at all hours, disregarding work nights, which can be incredibly disruptive and potentially dangerous. Moreover, his habit of drinking and socializing often leads to inebriation, followed by a series of unhygienic and potentially harmful behaviors. He has been documented vomiting on expensive carpets and even on others, a fact humorously illustrated by his vomiting on Illyrio's rug. Imagine waking up to vomit on your favorite rug or even on a fellow roommate! Needless to say, he poses a significant risk to both the health and safety of anyone sharing his space.

Alternative Worst Roommate Considerations

Others have pointed out Joffrey Baratheon, a character known for his cruelty and entitled attitude. Joffrey is a walking nightmare, his behavior is nothing short of erratic and abusive. His inability to adjust to social norms, coupled with his cruel impulse to use a crossbow, makes him a formidable and dangerous roommate. In fact, his very presence could put you and your belongings at serious risk. His temper tantrums and aggressive behavior would likely make living conditions extremely uncomfortable and potentially dangerous.

The Case for Sweetrobin

Sweetrobin, while perhaps the most unexpected addition to the list, would certainly be a challenging roommate due to his multiple shortcomings. For starters, his literal tendency to fall over things makes him a nuisance, much like a natural-born disaster. His fits and sleep-timing bedwetting are equally disturbing, which would make any room smell of urine, a downright unpleasant experience. To make matters worse, his entitled and immature behavior aligns closely with his entitled Baratheon lineage, and his desire for a moon door suggests a disturbing level of self-indulgence and disregard for others’ comfort.

More importantly, Sweetrobin's mother, Lady Stark, and his alleged father, Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish, are both infuriating and manipulative individuals. Sharing a space with someone who reveres a manipulative figure like Petyr could be psychologically damaging and create a toxic living environment. Trust issues and paranoia might become the norm. Trust me, avoiding one-night stand complaints like a vomit-pocked rug is a small price to pay for avoiding a roommate like Sweetrobin.

Conclusion

Whether it’s Tyrion’s constant mess, Joffrey’s sadistic behavior, or Sweetrobin’s tantrum-throwing and entitled nonsense, none of these characters truly make a suitable roommate. Opting for someone with a balanced personality and good habits would be the wiser choice. But if you must, make sure you have an evacuation plan and perhaps even a poison-proofing kit! Your sanity and safety are paramount in any living situation.
