Square up the putt to the center of the hole and hit all three. If you make all three, proceed to the opposite side and repeat the drill. Continue this process until you are six feet from the hole. Alternatively, if time or patience is limited, you can simply practice putting to a tee from 5 feet on all four sides of the hole using no technique or alignment tools, just your eyes and stroke.

Pace Control

To improve your ability to judge distances, place six balls in a circle around the hole, practicing sinking each ball from three feet. Gradually increase the distance, moving the circle to four feet, five feet, and so on. Another effective drill is to circumnavigate the putting green and try making each practice hole with two putts or less.

Staying Calm and Relaxed

Putting requires precision and accuracy. To achieve this, focus on your grip, lining up your shot, and staying calm and relaxed.
