Being in a state of high intoxication, I felt this moment was transcendent and mystical. She repeated this phrase over and over, each repetition seeming to unveil secrets of the universe to me. Eventually, I had to leave, and she continued to call out to me, but the experience left a lasting impression.

I often wonder what makes a meeting memorable. Out of the thousands of people I’ve met in my life, only a handful stand out. There was a time in the 90s when I sat next to a lady on a plane and we chatted nonstop for 2.5 hours, feeling like only 10 minutes had passed. I can't remember her name, but I still recall the conversation vividly. Another instance was in 2005 when I was flying to Berlin beside a Polish man. Despite the language barrier, we managed to converse in a little-known German. There was also a memorable encounter at a hotel when a Japanese woman complained about the dirty dishes left in the hallway, leading to an interaction we won't soon forget.
