Why is Love So Powerful?

The word love has a wondrous fragrance that spreads the illumination of goodness and an aura of beauty. When you are in love, you glow differently. It not only gives us the power to heal ourselves but others too. True love sees no barriers, no gender, no caste or creed. It is patient and a wonderful pain of patience that never leaves.

Equally unanswerable as the question, "Why is the sky blue?" or "Why does the sun shine, giving us life and warmth?", love is another of many imponderables here on Earth. However, for some reason, it is a powerful force—one of the most powerful forces:

It is selfless: Look at how far parents will go to protect their young, because they love them. People will sacrifice their lives for the sake of love. Love makes us shine: You can see the light in the eyes of those who truly love. Love is the sauce that makes this world go round. It is also what makes the world taste so good. It is transformative: Love allows us to go out of our way and care for those we love, overcoming our frailties. It is spiritual: Gods love gives us a free gift of salvation to all who believe. God, our creator, loves us unconditionally, for we were created in His image to be placed above everything on earth. If you call on God, you may not see Him, but you can feel His presence. His voice is very authoritative and sounds like many waters. Biblical perspective: Jesus Christ, God incarnate, died for everyone willingly on a cross of shame. He who knew no sin became sin for us, taking all of the world's sins on His physical body so we can be saved. Without Him, we would be doomed to hell, but He saves us from torment in hell. It is the most important decision you will ever make. God will not force you to be saved, so do realize that we are all sinners saved by His grace and mercy. It is required that you call on God and ask for forgiveness so that you can be free from sin.

Love, in all its forms, is a profound and powerful force that affects us profoundly. It helps us heal, share, and love unconditionally. So, why not embrace the power of love and share this precious gift with everyone in your life?
