The Most Painful Challenge for Nonprofit Employees: Low Funding for Wages

As a nonprofit employee, one of the most painful challenges I face at work is the alarmingly low funding formula for the wages of direct support professionals (DSPs). The current funding rate for DSP hours is 15.11 CAD, which is significantly below the minimum wage in my province and not far from the upcoming increase of 15.00 CAD.
