Then, the vaccine must be modified, which can take from 2 to multiple months. Post-modification, the vaccine must be extensively tested, a process that also takes months. Lastly, production and distribution would need to occur. This lengthy process means that mutations often outpace vaccine development.

In conclusion, while the virus continues to mutate rapidly, the current vaccine development process is not yet up to the task of adapting to every new variant. It's essential to prioritize accurate information and alternative methods of protecting public health.
