TV Shows to Watch Based on Recent Binge-watching
Hi everyone! In the past few months, I've been engrossed in a variety of TV series, trying to find the perfect next show to watch. Here’s a journey through the series I’ve recently finished, alongside a few upcoming recommendations for your viewing pleasure.
Recent Finishes and Recommendations:
I’ve just wrapped up a few shows that have left quite an impression on me, such as The Office, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Queer Eye, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. These shows have brought a mix of laughter, drama, and transformative moments into my life, making it the perfect time to share my experience with you!
Taking a Break from Riverdale:
Recently, I embarked on a new journey by watching the first season of Riverdale. This series is set in the world of The CW’s The Vampire Diaries and revolves around a small town where everything is not as perfect as it seems. I primarily chose to watch for the charming KJ Apa's character, Hiram Lodge, who is red-headed and charismatic. However, after watching a few episodes, I found that season 2 received more negative reviews and decided to stop. It’s always a tough call when the buzz about a sequel isn’t as positive as the original!
Scanning the Horizon with The End of the Fking World:
I also decided to dip my toes into the pool of The End of the F**king World. This series features two intriguing characters who team up to explore the depth of their mental struggles. Unfortunately, I found this show to be quite aggravating and decided to put it aside. It's not the best if you are in the mood for something light and positive.
On the other hand, Stranger Things has been making waves in the entertainment industry. I have to admit, I'm yet to dive into the full series beyond its first episode. However, the hype is undeniable, and the show is known for its nostalgic 80s atmosphere and thrilling storyline. If you're a fan of suspenseful and compelling narratives, Stranger Things is definitely worth your time.
A Popularity Contest: Grey's Anatomy:
In the realm of medical dramas, Grey’s Anatomy is a beacon. It’s a TV show that showcases the life of doctors in the fictional Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Recently, I started hearing a lot about this show and decided to give it a try. With its engaging characters and dramatic plotlines, it’s a must-watch for those who appreciate a blend of medical expertise and emotional depth.
Classics Regretfully Off Netflix:
While exploring these fresh series, I can't help but miss the classics. Shows like House and Scrubs are gone from Netflix, but some episodes were available for a while. They were perfect for quick binge-watching sessions. If you’re a fan of medical dramas with a twist, or just looking for a light-hearted and humorous show, don’t miss out on these.
Your Turn to Suggest:
If you have any recommendations for me or anyone else who loves watching TV shows, feel free to drop them in the comments below. I'm always on the lookout for fresh binge-watching material. As a newbie to watching excessive amounts of TV, I appreciate every suggestion!
Stay tuned for more updates and feel free to share your thoughts and experiences with these shows in the comments. Happy watching!
