Surrendering to God: A Path to Holiness and Divine Protection

Introduction

In the face of life's challenges and the spiritual war that rages around us, surrendering one's will and life to God becomes a noble and necessary undertaking. This article delves into the concept of surrendering to God and how it can lead to a deeper spiritual journey, emphasizing the significance of Christ's sacrifice and the 40 commandments he taught.

The Will and Life Confronted

Life often presents us with paths that are less productive than we realize. A key step in achieving spiritual growth and understanding is to willingly follow God's guidance. This act of surrender is not just for our benefit but also to protect us from the enemy.

“A person must be ‘willing’ to do what Father says and what He wants you to do. He desires this for our sake due to the spiritual war going on around us. Father sees and knows what the enemy is doing at all times and He just wants to keep us safe. He loves us dearly.”

Admitting the Divine Work

The doctrine of the completed work of the cross is central to understanding our relationship with God. According to John 19:30, the salvation that Christ achieved is beyond our control. This acceptance is crucial for our spiritual journey.

"Admit the God completed the work of the cross, John 19:30. Admit that salvation is beyond your control because Christ completed the work of the cross John 19:30. Admit that Christ fulfilled all the Hebrew Law, all the Hebrew Psalms and all the Hebrew Prophets while he was on the cross, and that He also brought in the new covenant as written in Jeremiah 31:31-34 while he hung on the cross. Admit that God changed His habitation from heaven above to the clean and righteous hearts of humanity as written in Jeremiah 31:33.”

The Sermon on the Mount: A Divine Staircase

In the Bible, particularly in Mathew chapter 5-7, Jesus delivered what are often referred to as the Sermon on the Mount. This can be seen as a divine staircase from Planet Earth to the Holy Temple of God at the center of the Lower Heaven. The 40 commandments are the steps that lead to spiritual elevation and closeness to God.

“There is no other religion of Jesus. These 40 commandments were the religion of the first Jerusalem church of which the Apostle Paul was always a member. These commandments were the religion of Paul and every church that he ever established. All subsequent teaching by both Jesus and Paul were either … ‘the end of the world is nigh’ nor an explanation, nor an development, nor an amendment … in answer to perpetual questioning by followers.”

The Process of Surrendering

Surrendering our lives and minds to God involves a controlled process, a staircase that leads us to a higher spiritual realm. It is a journey that requires discipline and a commitment to God’s will.

“When you climb this staircase of commandments, you reach a point at which you are no longer of ‘this world’ and instead come under the direct authority of Lord Jesus. From that point, Lord Jesus has the authority to forgive your sins, which He does only if you continue to climb this staircase. FALLING OFF the horse is OK providing you get straight back on it again.”

Miracles and Divine Protection

As we ascend this divine staircase, miracles begin to occur in our lives, as the commandments we follow activate in our spiritual journey. Miracles, or divine interventions, provide additional protection and blessings from God.

“Mathew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you forgive not men their trespasses neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Those who climb this staircase of commandments reach a point at which miracles begin to occur in their lives.”

Paths to Surrendering

There are multiple paths to surrendering to God, each with its own distinct approach. Two prominent paths are the traditional Christian path following the commandments and the Protestant evangelical path that involves a personal declaration of faith.

“Or …… you can become a Protestant Evangelical and choose to believe that the Apostle Paul created an entirely new religion unconnected to anything that went before. And in this new religion, all your sins, past, present, and future, are forgiven the instant you say the 4 magic words ‘I believe in Jesus.’ THEN you have nothing to do for the rest of your life but wait for the great day and then march into Heaven AS A RIGHT … pretty-much as you are now. ‘I said the magic words,’ ‘I’m here,’ ‘Move over!’”

Conclusion

Surrendering to God is a multifaceted and transformative journey that requires our commitment, faith, and action. Understanding the doctrine of the completed work of the cross and the significance of the 40 commandments can guide us on this path. Regardless of the path chosen, the ultimate goal is to experience divine protection and a closer relationship with God.

“Choose the path that sounds most likely to you. CHRISTIAN MYSTIC.”
