Understanding Death and Reincarnation in Hinduism

Hinduism, one of the oldest religions in the world, offers profound insights into the post-death experience and the cycle of reincarnation.

One of the most intriguing aspects of Hindu teachings is the belief in reincarnation. According to this belief, the soul (atman) continues to exist beyond the physical death. The journey of the soul is governed by karmic imprints, which are formed by actions and thoughts during one's lifetime.

After Death and the Ascension Process

Traditionally, the journey of the soul after death is influenced by the Garuda Purana. In recent times, Divine Mother has made significant changes to this process. Since 2018, and as the planet and its inhabitants prepare to ascend to the 5th dimension, the transition has undergone considerable modifications. Those transitioning out of their physical bodies are now directed to a 'cleaning unit' for cleansing purposes and a planet that matches their vibrational frequency. This remains their temporary home until they are ready for the ascension process.

In 2018, the tipping point was reached, indicating that 60% of the world's population had reached a certain level of consciousness. This advancement, as decreed by Divine Mother, necessitates a significant shift in the way souls are guided post-death. Everyone is now tasked with dealing with their own karma. To ascend to the 5th dimension, it is essential to dissolve 51% of one's karmic imprints. Assistance from another person in dealing with one's karma is not permissible until 51% of the karma has been released. At this juncture, a dispensation will be granted for dealing with the remaining 49%.

Reincarnation and Spiritual Growth

The process of reincarnation is determined by both one's desires and the internal karmic imprints. Based on these factors, the higher self or soul decides the next life. Reincarnation is not confined to human form; it can include various incarnations to achieve inner spiritual growth.

The ultimate goal of reincarnation in Hinduism is to merge one's awareness or self with the divine. This union leads to the cessation of individual identity, ultimately freeing one from all suffering. The cycle continues until this union is achieved.

Questioning the Concept of Fear of Death

Hindu teachings suggest that only humans fear death. This fear arises from a misunderstanding of the nature of the soul. To truly comprehend the concept of mortality, one must first discern what truly dies and who is questioning this fear. The 'I' or the human ego is often mistaken for the true self. Exploring these questions can lead to a deeper understanding and acceptance of the cycle of life and death.

Religious Context and Devotion

In Hinduism, religion serves as a guiding force in this cycle. The soul is judged by Yamaraja, the Lord of Death, who evaluates the actions and deeds of the individual during their lifetime. A virtuous life can cleanse sins, paving the way for a better reincarnation or even liberation (moksha).

Devotion to divine beings such as Lord Krishna or Shiva, coupled with a virtuous life, can assist in the spiritual journey. The efforts towards spiritual evolution through these practices can lead to the eradication of sins, enabling the soul to advance on the path towards cosmic consciousness.

These teachings underscore the significance of individual responsibility in achieving spiritual liberation. The journey towards union with the divine is a personal and individual endeavor, facilitated by self-awareness and continuous spiritual practices.
