Mohanlal: A Legendary Actor with Enduring Impact

Mohanlal is widely regarded as one of the greatest actors in Indian cinema, particularly in the Malayalam film industry. Known for his versatility and natural acting style, he has portrayed a wide range of characters, from intense dramatic roles to light-hearted comedic parts. His ability to seamlessly transition between different genres has earned him immense respect and admiration from both audiences and critics.

Highlights of His Career

He has received numerous accolades, including multiple National Film Awards, Kerala State Film Awards, and Filmfare Awards, recognizing his contributions to Indian cinema. He has starred in several critically acclaimed and commercially successful films such as Drishyam, Vellam, and Pulimurugan. Beyond acting, Mohanlal has also worked as a producer and director, contributing to the industry in various capacities. His influence extends beyond cinema as he is a cultural icon in Kerala. His work has garnered attention beyond India with some films being recognized at international film festivals.

Recent Improvements and Continued Excellence

People often wonder why everyone doesn't praise Mohanlal as much as they did after the massive success of Drishyam in 2013. However, the truth is that Mohanlal has continued to improve and bring remarkable performances to the table.

After 2013, Mohanlal has acted in many movies, both great and bad. His movie Villain, which was a commercial failure, received negative reviews from both critics and the public. However, people often miss the highly natural and phenomenal acting in Villain. I consider it to be one of the best natural performances I have ever seen—70 percent of the time, I am exaggerating, but the other 30 percent is true.

"If you are good, you tell everyone. If you are great, they tell you." This is what happened in Mohanlal's case.

This is not a personal attack on his fans; the problem lies in the way his movies are perceived. Mohanlal's every movie is overhyped, which causes a lot of problems. He is a great actor who has already proved his talent, even in the late 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. Now, people are slowly forgetting the actor Mohanlal and loving the hero Mohanlal. The mistake is not Mohanlal's because his acting is still phenomenal, but it doesn't get the credit because the movies are bad or overhyped.

"Mohanlal was great, and the people told him so. The same people are now trying to prove to everyone that Mohanlal is a good actor, which he surely is."

People with 90 percent certainty won't understand what I mean, but here's the question: Whose mistake is this? Unluckily, the great Mohanlal himself is partially to blame. He continues to take on mediocre films like Big Brother and Ittimani, where his acting is still good, but the weak script brings everything negatively. In the 1990s, even if the movie was a flop, Mohanlal's acting would still be appreciated because he wasn't a big star at the time. Now, he has haters even when he does good films.

However, Mohanlal remains a respected and beloved actor, and his upcoming movies are eagerly awaited.

Respect to Mohanlal.
