Korean Dramas That Made My Lockdown Interesting: A Personal Recommendation

During the lockdown, I have watched more than 30 Korean dramas, and it's amazing how different each of them is. It's not just about the narrative; the characters, the sets, and the storytelling techniques all contribute to the overall experience. Today, I want to share some of my favorite dramas that brought a smile to my face and made my quarantine period more bearable.

Which Korean Drama Made Your Lockdown Interesting and the Best Time?

If you're looking for a drama that is entirely unlike anything you've seen before, Kill Me, Heal Me stands out. The male lead in this drama has multiple personalities, and the female lead is a psychologist who must heal him by treating his various personalities. It's a unique concept that captivates viewers from the very beginning.

Top Korean Dramas That Kept Me Company

Here is a list of some of my favorites:

'Okay to Not Be Okay' The King: Eternal Monarch The Flower of Evil Love Revolution Tempted/ The Great Seducer My Id Is Gangnam Beauty Extraordinary You

Each of these dramas has its own unique story and characters. I highly recommend 'Remember - War of the Son' as well. Though it may not be as famous, it offers a fascinating narrative about the relationship between a father with Alzheimer's and his son with excellent memory. Both of them search for the truth behind a high school girl's murder, making it a captivating watch.

More Personal Notes on My Favorites

I must admit that during the lockdown, not all my days were rosy, but 'Remember - War of the Son' offered a respite. It's a masterpiece with a unique storyline, although it's not widely known. The relationship portrayed between the father and son in this drama is a prime example of the bond between family members.

Other dramas that caught my attention include:

Boys Over Flowers: I fell in love with the cheesy romance and the character Lee Min Ho. True, I bought the series. Itaewon Class: I was hooked from the first episode and even bought the series. Crash Landing On You: This drama was incredibly entertaining. I fell in love with the cast and found it hilarious. I also purchased this series. The Heirs: It provided eye candy and featured Lee Min Ho. I bought this one too! ?? It’s OK to Not Be Ok: I started watching this but got distracted, so I am now starting it again. It's very good. Love Marriage Divorce: I just started watching this, and it's the first one on the list that doesn't have all the episodes available on Netflix. They show two episodes each week, which drives me crazy as a binge-watcher. The plot makes all men look like pigs and all women as victims, but it’s got me hooked.

These dramas not only entertained me but also provided a much-needed break from the monotony of stay-at-home life. They are a testament to the vibrant and diverse world of Korean dramas, providing endless entertainment and emotional depth.
