Exploring the Concept of Heaven: A Personal Perspective

Have you ever thought about how heaven will look like?

Sometimes, such questions might seem trivial or even ignorant, yet they often stem from a deep curiosity about life and the universe. During nighttime, the sky is adorned with countless stars, each a distant sun. Isn't that a form of heaven, in a sense?

Desiring Peace and Prosperity

A world without conflict or war, where natural beauty reigns supreme, and everyone is at peace—free from vice and violence. Wouldn't that be heaven? No diseases, no fear of death, as everyone believes that after leaving one body, they will be reborn into a new one. Science has advanced to the point where aircraft are accident-free and easy to operate, and every person is virtuous. The population is very low, and kings and queens no longer rule.

Indeed, heaven would be a wonderful place, the abode of the righteous. However, it is beyond human comprehension. One must have the burning desire to be there, for it is only through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that one can truly appreciate its wonders. As Jesus stated, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)

Personal Experiences and Observations

Imagine, in heaven, the trees might symbolize apostles, and the floors might be paved with beaten gold, so clear you could see through them like glass. Sitting on the throne is none other than Jesus Christ, and His wisdom sits beside Him. Kings and queens of angels receive their orders, with satanic angels on one side and God's angels on the other side receiving their orders.

Critical Reflection

Some might argue that thought about heaven is a waste of time, as heaven would have to look different for each person. Moreover, it is extremely illogical to think it would look like anything we know already. The concept of heaven would only seem possible if we speak about the state of mind after death, but we all know the human brain can live only about 7 minutes after we die.

Thus, while the concept of heaven is intriguing, one must approach it with a critical and open mind. Whether or not heaven exists, the experience of believing in the goodness and love of the Lord Jesus Christ can certainly bring a sense of peace and comfort to one's life.
