An Unforgettable Halloween: Trick-or-Treating Adventures and Candy Trends
Halloween is a day filled with fun, frights, and sweet treats. This year, I had the pleasure of participating in a unique tradition called trunk or treating. Not only did I indulge in a plethora of candy, but I also experienced a truly memorable celebration.
Trunk or Treating: A Creative Twist on tradition
Trunk or treating is a heartwarming Halloween tradition where cars are lined up in driveways or parking lots, and children trick-or-treat from the comfort and safety of the cars. This year, I joined in on the fun, but with a twist. Instead of the usual festive attire, I wore a handmade woman suit by a fashion designer often referred to as Ed Gein, who is based in hell. Ed is renowned for his unique and macabre designs, and just like his creations, visitors were greeted with a blend of fright and excitement.
No Candy for Me, but a Generous Hand
Trunk or treating was an absolute blast, but I, a full-grown adult, did not receive any candy. However, I took it upon myself to purchase a 220-piece candy bag and have been snacking on it throughout the day. It's more than a sentiment; it's a story of generosity and fun.
No Candy for Me, but Giving Away Lots
While I may not be a candy enthusiast, I found great joy in giving away approximately £20 worth of candy to the children who visited my home. It was a delightful way to share the spirit of Halloween and make a few children's evenings extra special.
Candy is Everywhere
Halloween this year was a particularly sweet celebration. The overflowing pillowcase of candy was a testament to the generosity and joy of the occasion. I managed to weigh the entire collection and it came to about 4.5 lbs (~2 kg), including the container used to hold it. This weighs as much as a small dog, and it was barely half-filled!
A Memorable Halloween: From 5 am to Midnight
My Halloween was anything but ordinary. It began at 5 am when I woke up disoriented, with my lips dyed blue and black from gumballs and gummy bears, and a handful of gumball wrappers beside me. Despite the chaos, I was alive and well. I had a fantastic day filled with excitement and fun. Even the first two photos, taken at 5 am and 12 am, are a part of this unforgettable experience.
So how did my Halloween go? It was a sheer joy, filled with laughter, treats, and memories that will last a lifetime.
