Alien Invaders: The Ultimate Invasion Scenario

When contemplating the ultimate scenario of an alien invasion, one must consider the vastness of space and the limitations of travel. While some might argue for starting the invasion in Egypt or your own home, the most logical and strategic approach involves a combination of strategic planning and sheer logistical prowess.

The Best Place to Begin an Alien Invasion

Aliens, if they were to visit Earth, might start their invasion from the asteroid belt. They could nudge asteroids towards Earth, creating a peaceful yet effective means to reduce the population and make the planet easier to conquer. Since their technology and capabilities would far exceed humanity's, they would have no significant resistance from the start. The asteroid bombardment would eliminate the need for direct invasion, as the survivors would be left to face a bleak future.

The Strategic Approach

However, if we consider a more direct approach, the invasion might begin in space, with the following stages:

Chapter One: Blast Off

The invasion fleet, discussing state-of-the-art technology, sets off from Alpha Centauri. The crew comprises a super freighter and fourteen attack saucers. They are filled with excitement as they embark on their mission to conquer Earth. The journey lies ahead, but they are ready for the challenge.

Chapter Two: On Our Way

The fleet reaches 95% of light speed, and the travel time from Alpha Centauri to Sol is approximately 4.4 Sol years. The crew remains full of energy and anticipation, with no signs of weariness yet.

Chapter Three: In Flight

With space stretching infinitely in front of them, the fleet is well on their way. They have 4.35 Sol years left to travel. As they approach Sol, the crew remains optimistic, assuming the mission will go smoothly.

Chapter Four: Are We There Yet?

However, a Zoom meeting reveals the reality of the situation. The long journey and technical complexity of space travel have led to boredom and frustration. In the mission's outcome, we see that at least seven crew members have suffered physical and psychological damage from the boredom and stress.

Chapter Five: It’s All Turning to Shit

Despite completing 1.0 light year, the crew is still 3.3 light years away. Mental health issues have taken hold, with crew members hiding missing limbs and rumors of harsh measures to alleviate the boredom. The XO is accused of cannibalism, and genetic cloning research is underway for replacement purposes.

Chapter Six: Rebellion

Disillusioned and driven to the brink, a group of mutinous crew seizes control of the command module. The officers are captured and sent into Sol. The remaining crew indulges in debauchery, turning to drugs and music in a final attempt to escape their situation.

Editor’s Note: No further coherent reports have been received from the fleet. The last transmission was a desperate plea for lemons, highlighting the crew's deteriorating mental and physical state.

Reflecting on this hypothetical scenario, the best place to begin an alien invasion might not be on Earth at all, but in the vast, uncharted expanse of space. The key to a successful alien invasion would be not in direct combat with humans, but in leveraging psychological and logistical advantages to ensure the survival and success of their mission.
