Despite my best efforts, the job market was—and remains—extremely challenging, with many opportunities seeming to elude me. Countless rejections came my way, each one stating, "You are good, but we found someone better."

Getting to Know the Download

My brother visited us last month, bringing joy and laughter to the household. In addition to this, several significant milestones were achieved by my baby sister. She graduated to the next level of her swim class, marking a step towards her confidence in water. It was a proud moment for the family, witnessing her progress and determination.

This past month also saw her joining the preschool classroom, which marked a significant advancement in her early education. Alongside this academic milestone, she began to explore her interest in dance, participating in her first ballet class. While she usually prefers to hug me during dance class, the beginning of this new venture was an exciting step in her growth.

At the same time, her speech skills are improving, as she started to imitate more words and phrases. The laughter in our household only grew louder as she began to throw the occasional tantrum, a normal part of every child's development. One of the cutest moments was when she said her first Tamil word, "poonai," showing her budding language skills. However, my favorite memory from this period was her random shouts of "HUG," leading to many extra snuggles and pick-ups.

As a bonus, my sister's love for cats is evident in her behavior, and it was no secret by the time she said "poonai." It seems that my sister's love for these furry companions is an ongoing journey, bringing much joy to our lives.
