The movie did incredibly well on its own terms, earning its successes without relying on the recent controversies involving Internet Hindus boycotting Shah Rukh Khan (SRK). It's clear that it stood on its merit, earning the love of the audience without the need for external supports.

No makeup or miracle of medical science can fully explain Kajol's transformation. Her younger look is so refreshed that the Kajol from Dilwale DurGhaTinJo (DDLG) could almost serve as the elder sister of her Dilwale counterpart. While some may enjoy the melodrama and spectacle, Dilwale leaves much to be desired in terms of substance. Nonetheless, we continue to hope for better from such legendary figures in the future.
